This was a truly laborious process. Perhaps there is a faster way to design, size and print these portraits onto custom-fitted dust jackets, but I don't know what that it is except by hand, and one at a time. The final installation in The Phoenix Lounge at The Wit hotel in Chicago is striking, and more importantly, charming in the best possible way. Now if guests would just stop trying to pull the books off the shelves! (note: we put a metal rod through each set of books to thwart such an attempt!)
